Book on Detoxifying

In 1998 a Cambridge, England physician and mother of a child who had learning disabilities opened The Cambridge Nutrition Clinic to help other parents facing some of the same difficulties she faced.

In her research and treatment of her learning disabled child, Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride found that using probiotics to improve digestion as well as using Diatomaceous Earth to help remove toxins from the body benefited many children. Dr. Campbell-McBride does not advocate using Diatomaceous Earth when children have Crohn’s disease or Ulcerative Colitis.

As a result of her research and experience in detoxifying the body, she has written a book titled “Gut and Psychology Syndrome: Natural Treatment for Autism, Dyspraxia, A.D.D., Dyslexia, A.D.H.D., Depression, Schizophrenia” (link to Amazon).

In her book Gut and Psychology Syndrome she tells of her experience, knowledge and successes with improving childhood and adult nutrition and the positive changes made in a wide variety of disabilities.

Dr. Campbell-McBride’s advice and experience has set her aside as an expert in her field who has helped both children and adults overcome disabilities. She is convinced that human disabilities are in many instances linked to the things we eat and drink and the underlying condition of our digestive organs.

This unique book presents a perspective that has helped many, both children and adults, improve their health and shed their disabilities. If you or someone you know has a child with disabilities or suffers from disabilities themselves, this informative book could hold the key to their living a normal life free of disability.

Silicon Rich Water

In an article on our site “Diatomaceous Earth – Uses, Health Benefits, Is It Safe”, we talk about Professor Christopher Exley’s mention of two sources of “silicon rich water” that help remove aluminum, believed by many to contribute to Alzheimer’s disease, from the human body in his article “Why Everyone Should Drink Silicon Rich Mineral Water.”

One of the sources for “silicon rich water” is FIJI Natural Artesian Water (link to Amazon). We drink this bottled water that comes from the islands of FIJI, keeping some on hand at all times.

The ingredients on our bottles say: Silica 93 mg/L, Calcium 18 mg/L, Magnesium 15 mg/L, pH 7.7 mg/L, Bicarbonates 152 mg/L, Total Dissolved Solids 222 mg/L. It also contains natural electrolytes and the bottle is BPA Free.

Another source for “silicon rich water” is Volvic Natural Spring Water (link to Amazon). Volvic water, bottled in France, is Natural Spring Water that is filtered through Volcanic rocks in the Auvergne region and has a unique mineral balance.

This is what is listed on the side of a 1.5L bottle: Calcium 12, Sulfates 9, Magnesium 8, potassium 6, Bicarbonates 74, Silica 32, Chlorides 15. Neutrally balanced PH: 7. Naturally occurring electrolytes contributing to the taste nature intended. People rave over this water, saying how clean , crisp and wonderful tasting, their favorite water.
